I have been telling patients lately that it is an entertaining time to be a doctor. We now live in an era in which alcohol, chocolate, and coffee are all considered to be healthy for you.
Alcohol ( in low doses ) decreases your chances of dying from "everything".
Chocolate is good for your heart.
And coffee ( 3-6 cups /day ) prevents heart disease, prostate cancer, and all over death.
And there are even some health benefits to smoking. But I ain't telling you what they are. The detriments are far greater !
